Participating in the blog action day on Poverty "08
Here are some pictures of poverty here in the USA and elsewhere. I found a lot more but these were the ones that struck my heart when I first saw them and I hope they make us all aware of this huge problem we have. I am posting this a day early because knowing me and my brain I could forget to post it and I don't want to forget to post this.

This year's topic is going to be poverty and what I am going to do is find some photos or videos that explain how widesprread this problem is. If you would like to participate you can do so by clicking on the button on the left hand side of my blog and registering your blog(s). I believe that this is a very important topic that needs to be talked about.

Some Guidelines for taking pictures
I would like to share with you some guidelines I found out about taking better pictures of anything be it kids, animals, nature, etc.. My dad told me these and I was watching a TV show one morning and they had a professional photographer on and he said to do these things as well. These guidelines are:
- Try and have the subject off centered.
- Focus on the eyes when taking pictures of kids and animals.
- Try to take pictures in the early morning or late in the afternoon. This is because early morning pictures have the best light and late in the afternoon the sun isn't so bright. I have learned to avoid taking pictures in the middle of the afternoon if I can.
I think that is all of the guidelines or suggestions that I can remember. If this helps anyone that's great because I am just learning all of this.
